From TX Akihabara Station (TSUKUBA EXPRESS)
- From Akihabara station, take the TX Line and get off at the terminal, Tsukuba Station (45-57 minutes, 1,210 yen). Take the A4 exit and transfer to a local bus or a taxi at Tsukuba Center (Bus Terminal).
From JR Ueno Station (JAPAN RAILWAY JOBAN LINE)
- From Ueno station, take the JR Line and get off at Hitachino-Ushiku, Arakawaoki, or Tsuchiura station (approx. 1 hour, 990-1,170 yen). Transfer to a local bus bound for Tsukuba Center or take a taxi.

From JR Tokyo Station (Yaesu Minami-guchi)
- From the Highway Bus Terminal at Tokyo station, take the JR or the Kanto Tetsudo bus bound for "Tsukuba Center" or "Tsukuba Daigaku (University of Tsukuba) "(approx. 65 minutes, 1,200 yen). Get off at "Tsukuba Center" and transfer to a local bus or a taxi.
From Narita International Airport
- Take a highway bus bound for "Tsuchiura-eki". Get off at "Tsukuba Center" (approx. 65-80 minutes, 2,300 yen) and transfer to a local bus or a taxi.
From Tokyo International Airport (Haneda)
- Take a highway bus bound for “Tsukuba Center”. Get off at the terminal (approx.100-120 minutes, 1,900yen) and transfer to a local bus or a taxi.

LOCAL BUS
From Tsukuba Center
(1) Take the Kanto Tetsudo bus bound for "Kenchiku Kenkyujo (Building Research Institute)" from bus stop no. 5. Get off at the terminal, "Kenchiku Kenkyujo" (approx.20 minutes, 410 yen).
(2) Take the Kanto Tetsudo bus bound for "Shimotsuma-eki" from bus stop no.5. Get off at "Kyoshokuin Shien Kiko"(approx.17 minutes,410 yen) and walk 5 minutes to BRI.
(3) Take the Tsuku Bus Hokubu Shuttle bound for "Tsukuba-san-guchi" from bus stop no.3. Get off at "Oho-Madoguchi Center" (approx.16 minutes, 200 yen) and walk 15 minutes to BRI.
From Kenkyugakuen Station
(1) Take the Tsuku bus Yoshinuma Shuttle bound for “Toyosato Byoin". Get off at “Kyoshokuin Shien Kiko”(approx.18minutes, 200 yen) and walk 5 minutes to BRI.
TAXI
From Tsukuba Center, it will take you about 15 minutes to BRI (about 2,800 yen). Show the following sentence to the taxi driver if necessary, which says, "Please take me to the BRI."
